Our Worship
Pastor: Our worship strives to glorify God in praise, proclamation of Holy Scripture and song. Together we uplift God’s saving grace in our world, celebrate the sacraments and discover His purpose for our life.
People: We believe the Holy Spirit works best in an environment where we are focused, accepted and loved. We open our hearts to you.
New Members: We desire to be part of this family of believers. We will participate in worship and pray for the Spirit’s unique presence amongst us.
Our Fellowship
Pastor: God calls us to gather in a community called the “church.”
People: Our church is a “family of believers in Christ.” We extend our love, compassion, support and prayers to our brothers and sisters.
New Members: We joyfully commit to join this family of believers
Our Ministry:
Pastor: Our ministry offers opportunities to strengthen our Christian faith, and fulfill the purpose of our life.
People: We support our new brothers and sisters in Christ through fellowship, prayer, and study. Together we strengthen our bond as one family in Christ.
New members: We will participate in the ministry of Pilgrim Church and use our God-given abilities
Our Mission:
Pastor: God calls us to love Him and our neighbors by utilizing our time, talents and treasure in His service.
People: We open the doors of service to you. Join us in worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
New Members: We have special gifts that we are ready to share with you and others in God’s service.
Our Covenant:
Pastor: All of us have responded to a call to become active, responsible and faithful members of this Christian community. As the Pastor of Pilgrim United Church of Christ, I commit to provide leadership, support, and encouragement as we walk together as faithful Pilgrims.
People: We, your brothers and sisters of Pilgrim Church, covenant with you, to stand beside you in times of triumph and failure, joy and grief, faith and doubt. We share all that is ours with you. We welcome you as believers in Christ.
New Members: We partner with you our brothers and sisters in Christ, and blend our faith journey with yours. We gladly merge our lives into the life of this congregation.
